Mrs. Ella Ruth Tyler, 42, died at 12:05 a.m. yesterday at her home on Taylorsville Road of a blood clot resulting from an injury 3 hours earlier. Deputy Coroner William Kammerer said Mrs. Tyler received a severe leg bruise when she was struck by the left-rear wheel of a truck being backed from the driveway of her home by her husband, B.H. Tyler, Sr. The blood clot moved through her circulatory system and caused her death when it reached her heart, Kammerer said. Not Traffic Fatality The death was not listd as a traffic fatality because the injury occurred on private premises. Other survivors are a son, B. H. Tyler, Jr.; a daughter Mrs. Grace Butts; parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.V. McMahan; six sisters, Mrs. Woodrow Martin, Mrs. L. T. Hulsewede, Mrs. John Baror, Miss Margaret McMahan, Mrs. Ida McMahan and Mrs. Verna McMahan; and two brothers, Roy McMahan and William McMahan. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Myers' Jeffersontown Chapel. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
