Taken from the Courier-Journal, Louisville Ky, 
Friday Morning,
December 6, 1940

Hail C. Tinnell. Funeral services for Mr. Tinnell, 52, warehouse foreman, who died at 
11:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home, 1606 W. Kentucky, will be held at 10:30a.m. Saturday 
at the residence and 11 a.m. at Ormsby Avenue Baptist Church.  Burial will be at 
Bardstown , Ky. Survivors are his wife, Mrs Anna T. Tinnell, one daughter- 
Lucille Virginia Stroxtile, six sons, James Tinnell, Armond Tinnell,  Louis Tinnell, 
Ernest Tinnell, George Tinnell, and Roy Tinnell.:  three brothers, James Tinnell, 
Thomas Tinnell and Ben Tinnell, :  four sisters. Mrs. Elza Whitehead, Mrs. Hattie 
French,   Mrs. Sallie Vittitoe and Mrs. Georgia Mudd, and nine grandchildren.
Burial will be at Bardstown City Cemetery.
