Little Girl's Passing Causes Deep Sorrow

     The death of Marilyn R. Weakley, 10 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs.  Marvin Weakley, brought grief 
to the hearts of many in this community.  She  died at the Baptist Hospital, where she was taken January 
7, when it was  discovered that she had the dread disease, acute lymphatic leukemia.
     Much interest was manifest at the funeral, in the passing of the little  girl, so young in life.  Rites were 
held in the Jeffersontown Christian  Church by the Rev. Lloyd L. Roach, pastor, assisted by Rev. R. E. 
Connell of  the BaptistChurch, Wednesday afternoon.
     Survivors, other than the bereaved parents include; a sister, Gail  Thomas Weakley; grandparents, Mr. 
and Mrs. John A. Weakley and Mrs. Myrtle  Wearen.      Interment was made in Resthaven Cemetery.
