  Mrs. Ruby Lee WHORTENBURY, age 80, died Thursday, March 4, 1999 at the Hillcreek Manor 
Nursing Home in Louisville.   She is survived by two sons, Donald PATTON and James Michael 
PATTON, both of Louisville; two daughters, Mary ETHERIDGE of Pensacola, FL and Peggy COWARD 
of Jeffersonville, IN; two sisters, Nora Mae CHASTEEN, Louisville and Ivy Pearl CROMWELL of 
Minnesota; 15 grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 6, at Greenwell- Jenkins Funeral Home, 
Taylorsville, with interment in Briar Ridge Christian Church Cemetery.
