Had lived in Baltimore, MD for over 50 years before moving back to
Louisville. Retired registered nurse, served WW II as an Army nurse. Member
Temple Baptist Church, Baltimore.
Daughter of the late William and Ruby Powell Lester
Preceded in death also by sisters: Mary Durham and Alice Lester
Survivors:
Brother-in-law: Les Durham, Louisville
Nieces: Myra Durham of Louisville and Karen Bodart of Goshen, KY
Great-niece: Jessica Bodart, Louisville
Great-nephew: Darren Bodart, Goshen
Graveside services 10 am Friday, 11 January 2002, Pearl Webb Cemetery,
arrangements under direction of Win Funeral Home in Horse Cave.
