Carver, Dr. William Owen, at 12:11 p.m. Monday, May 24, 1954, at Kentucky Baptist 
Hospital.  Beloved husband of Mrs. Alice Shepard Carver, and father of William O. 
Carver, Jr., Dr. James E. Carver, Professor George A. Carver, Mrs. W.M. Garrott, and 
Mrs. M.B. Cramer; a number of grandchildren; sisters, Miss Gertrude Carver, Mrs. W.C. 
Raines, Mrs. Grace Isenman, Mrs. Roland Bloomfield; brothers, Dr. David J. Carver, 
Franville Carver and Fields Carver.  Remains at Herbert C. Cralle Funeral Home, 
Frankfort at Patterson Ave., until 10 a.m. Wednesday, when he will be taken to Alumni 
Memorial Chapel, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to lie in state. Services in
the Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  Interment in Cave Hill Cemetery.
