       Edelen, Althea Alloway, in her 86th year, Wednesday, April 10, 1957 at 10:55 a.m. at 
the home of her beloved niece, Mrs. Corine A. Rouse, Maple Hill Rest Home, Fern Creek, Ky.  
Residence, Taylorsville Ky.  Widow of the late John T. Edelen; devoted mother of Mrs. 
Charles (Virginia) Neal, Taylorsville, Ky.; Mrs. J.L. (Adele) Tichenor, Miami Fla.; sister 
of Sam C. Alloway of Fern Creek; 2 grandsons, Lloyd A. Tichenor and Glen C. Edelen;2 
great-grandchildren, Sue and Steve Tichenor; also survived by nieces and nephews.  Services 
for Mrs. Edelen will be conducted at the McAfee Funeral Home, Mt. Washington,  Friday April 
12, at 2:30 p.m.  Interment in Valley Cemetery, Taylorsville, Ky.
