HARRODSBURG -- A memorial service for Owen Springate, 64, of Louisville, 
formerly of Harrodsburg, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
 
He died Tuesday at his home.
 
Born Oct. 23, 1938, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Robert 
and Hester Sanders Springate.
 
Survivors include a daughter, Adeline York of Bullitt County; and a 
sister, Kathleen Sprowl of Jefferson County.
 
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Friday.
 
Memorials may go to Hospice of Louisville, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, 
Louisville 40205.
