My copy was provided by Martha (Weller) Vitale. "Death of Ethelbert Weller" Ethelbert Weller aged thirty years 10 mo. and 8 da. died Apr 25th 1915 at his home in Jacobs Addition after ten days illness of pneumonia. He was stricken suddenly in the night and his physician Dr. Pectol was called, but he grew steadily worse and suffered much until the end. Tho' medical skill and loving ministry used all human means to alleviate his pain and combat the disease. Ethelbert Weller was the youngest son of Jacob Weller and wife Bettie Holsclaw Weller; and was born and and lived most of his life in this community. He married several years ago to Miss Smith, who with one son four years of age survived him. He is also survived by one sister Mrs. Hardin Holsclaw and three brothers Leslie Weller of Fisherville, Rev. Ernest Weller of Owenton and Hugh Weller of Kansas. After selling his farm here several years ago he bought a home in Jacobs Addition a suburb of Louisville and was employed by the L. & N. R. R. where he was popular. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and the funeral service was held at that Church Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. Kennedy pastor of Fisherville Baptist Church conducted the service. After which the body was buried in Hebron Cemetery where his mother and father sleep. The last offices tenderly rendered by the friends and neighbors of his boyhood. His life was still in his morning. He passed away in the morning and while as he thought the labor of a long day was before him. But ------- he laid the burden down kissed wife and child good by and went home. If he only finds us ready In the morning happy light, In the strong and fiery noontide Or the coming of the night. If he ony finds us waiting, Listening to his sudden call, Then his coming when we think not Is the sweetest hope of all.
