E.J. Weller Meets Death in Automobile Accident (The Jeffersonian Staff Correspondence) Fisherville, May 7 -- C.L. Weller was called to Georgetown Monday by the sudden death of his brother, the Rev. E. J. Weller, 53, a Baptist minister, who was killed Monday when an automobile he was driving collided with a motor truck from Lexington on the Georgetown Pike. Martin Dunn, 27, of Cynthiana, driver of the truck, said the accident occurred when his truck skidded on the wet highway. The victim was a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, and is survived by his wife (nee Miss Kathryn Stout of Spencer County) and six children; one brother, C.L. Weller, and a nephew, Ray Weller, both of Fisherville. Rev. Weller and his family lived in Jeffersontown for ... The children, two boys and ... girls, are Jewell, Grace, Ernest Judson, Jr., Edith Rose, Dorothy and Martha. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Georgetown Baptist church and interment was in the cemetery there.
