The marriage of Miss Mayme Joyce Cochran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Emmett Cochran of Anchorage, and Mr. Eddie Allen Burger, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Allen Burger, took place at 4:30 p.m. yesterday in the Anchorage Presbyterian Church. The Rev. E.E. Houghton officiated. The bride was gowned in white organdy and carried a white orchid with white glamelias and stephanotis. She was attended by Mrs. Charles Hines, matron of honor; Mrs. Stanley Rotruck of Bloomington, Ind., and Miss Peggy Johnson, bridesmaids. Miss Judy Hines was flower girl. Pfc. Billie Jo Freibert was the best man, and Messrs. William A. Gerrard, III., of Ashland and Scott Chamberlain were ushers. Master Nolan Kirk Simon was ring bearer. A reception was held in the garden at the home of the bride's parents, after which Mr. and Mrs. Burger left on a wedding trip to Michigan. They will make their home in Anchorage.
