Jul 28, 1951 The Jeffersontown Christian Church was the scene of the wedding of Miss Jean Lovett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin B. Lovett of Jeffersontown, and Mr. Edgar Allen Darrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Darrell of Carlisle. Th Rev. Lloyd Roach read the service at 4:30 p.m. yesterday. The bride wore a gown of lace over white satin and carried a white orchid with carnations and stephanotis. She was attended by Miss Roberta Templeman. Mr. Dean Auxier was the best man. The ushers were Messrs. Emmett Darrell, brother of the bridegroom, and Thomas Townsend Lovett, brother of the bride. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, after which Mr. and Mrs. Darrell left on a trip in the South. They will make there home in Carlisle.
