Wed in '95
Mr., Mrs. E. W. McMahan.  Plan celebration Monday.
Natives of Jefferson County, Mr. and Mrs. E.W. McMahan, Jeffersontown, plan to celebrate their 50th 
wedding anniversary Monday.  They were married at the home of Mrs. McMahan's parents near Seatonville 
in double ceremony with Mrs. McMahan's sister, Mrs. Carlie Bethel, Owensboro.  Another sister, Mrs. John 
Patterson, Decatur, Ala. marked her 50th anniversary September 25.  McMahan is a retired carpenter.  
Mrs. McMahan, the former Lulie Carlin, is one of 11 children, 10 of whom are still living.  They have two 
children, Mrs. D.L. Hones, Sellersburg, Ind., and Herbert McMahan, Pasadena, Calif., and five 
grandchildren.
