     Pastor and Mrs. Leslie T. Wright of Jeffersontown have announced the engagement of their daughter, 
Miss Helen Virginia Wright to Mr. R.G. Shelton, son of Pastor and Mrs. Thomas G. Shelton, of Harrodsburg 
and formerly of Paducah. The wedding will take place Friday, January 14, at Jeffersontown.
     The attendants will be Miss Clare Wright, sister of the bride and Rev. T. Hicks Shelton, brother of the 
groom.
     The bride is a graduate of Jeffersontown High School '35 and of Campbellsville College '37.  The 
groom was graduated from the Cornishville High School '36, near Harrodsburg and the young couple met 
when both were students in Campbellsville College.  They will live in Campbellsville where the groom will 
resume his studies in the college.
