Will Book 2 p. 64 In the name of God Amen I JOHN HOLLIS of the State of Kentucky and County of Jefferson being sick of body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following towit: Item. I give and bequeath to my beloved Son JOSHUA W. HOLLIS one mare called Nance, also two cows, six sheep and one bed and furniture to him and his heirs forever. Item. I likewise give and bequeath to my beloved wife RUTH HOLLIS the land I now live on and every other species of property now in my possession that is not before disposed of during her natural life. Item. My will and pleasure is that after the death of before mentioned wife, the land devised to her shall descend to CALVIN LUTHER AGUN but but should the above named CALVIN LUTHER AGUN die before he comes of age or dies without heirs, in either case my will and pleasure is, that is that the above mentioned land shall descend to my eloved son JOSHUA W. HOLLIS to him and his heirs forever. Item. My will and pleasure further is that ZENEAH AGUN, the Mother of the above named CALVIN L. AGUN shall have a home in my dwelling house during her single life. My will and pleasure also is that the balance of the personal property bequeathed to my wife shall remain at her disposal to do with as she shall think proper.
