Jessamine Journal
Lydia Ann Brown Blake, 93, of 102 Wood Street, Wilmore, KY died Tuesday 
Morning at Homestead Nursing home after a long illness. She was a member of 
Mt. Freedom Baptist Church, a native and long time resident of Jessamine 
County.  She was the daughter of Benjamin Brown and Mary Woods Brown Houp.  
Survisors are one son Lawrence H. Blake, Pekin, IL; a half sister Beulah Houp 
Reynolds, Wilmore; two grandchildren and one great grandson. Services 1:00 pm 
today at Betts & West funeral home Rev Donald Reed officiating. Burial in 
Wilmore Cemetary. Bearers will be Thomas Woods, Raymond Wells, John French, 
Claude Freels, Bill Million and Dick Hout. Friends may call at the Funeral 
Home from 9:00 am until time of service.

Additional Comments:
Lydia's grandchildren are Gary Wayne Blake, Sr.(deceased) of Pekin, IL and 
Kathy A. Blake of Pekin, IL.  Lydia's great grandson is Fr. Gary W. Blake
