He had been in bad health all winter. The funeral was held at the Johnson house and was conducted by Rev. Cockerham. The interment was in the family burying ground. Mr. Johnson leaves a wife and four daughters, Mesdames Guyn, of Troy; Darah (Sarah?), of Carlisle; Chilton McDonald and Chilton Howard, of Woodford and one son, Wallace Johnson. (Possible error by newspaper regarding Chilton. Two daughters with same name?) JUNIUS, J. E. Mr. J. E. Junius died at his home in Harrodsburg, Sunday morning, Jan. 21, 1912, of pneumonia. Mr. Junius was 68 years old and had been ill of a complication of diseases for four months. He was a most highly respected citizen of Harrodsburg and served as a Confederate in the civil war. Mr. Junius leaves a wife, Mrs. Susan Junius, three daughters, Mrs. J. B. ???, of Mercer County, Mrs. A. T. Herd, of New York; Mrs. T. S. ????, to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held by the pastor at 2 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon. Interment in Harrodsburg cemetery.
