OLDHAM, DR. SAM P. Dr. Sam O. Oldham died in New Castle, Henry County, 
August 12, 1909. He was a popular physician and had relatives in Jessamine 
County. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Georgia Oldham. Among the many 
present at the funeral were Dr. George Oldham, of Louisville, son of 
Mrs. Georgia Oldham, Douglas Oldham, of Smithfield, Dr. Sam Oldham of 
Owensboro, and sister, Miss Magie, Judge Joseph Pryor and Mrs. Laban 
Phelps, of Louisville.
