------------------------------------------------------------ OBIT: Oklahoma REYNOLDS, Jr., 2002, Jessamine & Mercer Co. ------------------------------------------------------------ From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 27 Mar 2002 NICHOLASVILLE -- Oklahoma Reynolds Jr., 63, of Mercer County died Friday. Born in Nicholasville, he was the son of the late Oklahoma and Anna M. Wilson Reynolds. He was an equipment manager with Republic Services Inc. He was a retired Army maintenance warrant officer, a Vietnam veteran and the recipient of a Purple Heart, three Bronze Stars, Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation with Oak Leaf Clusters. He also was a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include his wife, Gerda Kuhn Reynolds; two sons, Ronald Reynolds of Lexington and Michael Reynolds of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Anna E. Meester of Bremerton, Wash., and Ramona L. Reynolds of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Barbara D. Ferguson of Danville and Joyce Collins of Lexington; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg, by the Rev. Joseph Muench. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at the church. Memorials may go to St. Andrew Catholic Church building fund, 1125 Danville Road, Harrodsburg 40330; Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville 40422; or favorite charity.
