Taylor, father of Mrs. George B. Denman, of 217 Westminster drive. Mrs. Denman had already left for Nicholasville on learning that her father was critically ill. Mr. Taylor was 79 years old and died after a brief illness. He was a leader in the civic and commercial life of Jessamine county and a member of Morgan’s brigade in the civil war, held the rank of general in the veterans’ organization of Kentucky.
