Lancaster and John Proctor are held and firmly bound into the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and full sum of L50 current money for the true payment of which we bind ourselves our heirs so jointly and serially formally by these present sealed with our seals and dated this 19th day of July 1814. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereby there is a marriage shortly to take place between the above bound John A. Lancaster and Lucy Proctor.
