FIRST: I desire that as soon as it can conveniently done after my death that all of my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. SECOND: I will and bequeath to my beloved wife, Jemima Preston, all of my property, both real and personal, for and during her natural lifetime. THIRD: After the death of my said wife I will and desire that all of said property left at that time be divided equally between my seven children, namely, Marshall Preston, Earl Preston, Elbert Preston, Jessie Preston, Irene Bolton, Linda Sparks, and Burnett Preston, share and share alike, and if either one of said children should be not living at the time of the death of said wife and should have living children I desire that the part that would have gone to said child not then living go the child, or children, of said child, but if either of my said children should die without living bodily issue before the death of my said wife, then the part that would have gone to said child shall be divided between the others of my said children, or their children, then living. FOURTH: I nominate and appoint my said wife, Jemima Preston, as executrix of this my last will and desire that she be allowed to qualify without surety on her bond. This 15 day of August 1932. Cronley Broadus H.R. Folger STATE OF KENTUCKY COUNTY OF GARRARD I, Geo. M. Noe, Clerk of the Garrard County Court do hereby certify that at the Special Term of the Garrard County Court 22 day of August 1948, the foregoing instrument of writing prporting to be the last Will and Testament of Huke Preston deceased, was produced in open Court, and offered for probate, and was proven by the sworn testimony of H. R. Folger one of the subscribing witnesses thereto (sho also testified to the signature of Cronley Broadust the other subscribing witness thereto) who stated that the said Huke Preston signed said paper in his presence and that they, at the request singed same in his presence, and in the presence of each other and that the said Huke Preston was of sound mind and capable of disposing of his property according to a fixed purpose of his own. Whereupon the said paper was adjudged by the Court to be the true last Will and Testament of Huke Preston, deceased and was ordered to be recorded as such, and the same with this certificate is now duly recorded.
