PAINTSVILLE -- Gene Castle, 80, Turner Street, retired Army master sergeant, 
World War II veteran who received a Silver Star, Bronze Star and a Purple 
Heart, uncle of Anita Spencer, died Monday. Services 1 p.m. Friday, Jones-
Preston Funeral Home. Visitation 5 p.m. today.
