Paintsville, KY—Frank P. Blair, prominent attorney here for the past 30 years, died Monday at his home. His death followed a long illness. Mr. Blair, who was 72 years of age was well and popularly known throughout the Big Sandy Valley. He had served as city attorney and police judge in the city of Paintsville and also circuit court clerk of Johnson County. Recently he retired from public service and at the time of his death he was engaged in a private law practice. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, one son, Jesse, of this county, and 4 daughters, Mrs. Clark Walters of Hazard, Mrs. Bernard Wells of Louisa, Mrs. Gus Wells of this city, and Lydia, at home. Several grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Missionary Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Mayo Cemetery.
