HENRY 2841, Kenton Co. Surname: Henry, Gano, Buckner, Conn Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 7th ed., Kenton Co. STEPHEN W. HENRY was born in Christian County, Ky., September 23, 1829, and is the fourth of a family of eight children born to Col. William and Cornelia V. (Gano) Henry, natives of Scott County, Ky., who moved to Christian County after their marriage, and both died there. William Henry was an officer in the war of 1812. Stephen W. Henry was reared on the farm, received his early education at the common schools, and afterward attended Georgetown College. He was married, February 24, 1858, to Miss Sallie A. Buckner, of Kenton County, daughter of Henry M. and Etheline (Conn) Buckner. They have two children: Annie E. and John C. He moved to Kenton County in 1873, and has always been a farmer
