William WILLEN 4884, Kenton Co. 

Surname: Willen, Puistan, Grifekamp, Wiechmann

WILLIAM WILLEN, of the firm of William Willen & Co., of Covington, Ky., was born in 
Germany, October 29, 1807, and is a son of William and Margaret (Puistan) Willen. 
He landed in New York in 1835, and located in Covington, Ky., in 1848. In 1841 he 
married Jennie Grifekamp, of Germany, who bore him ten children, four of whom are now 
living: John, William, Anna and Liza. All the family are members of the Catholic Church. 
In 1856 the firm of William Willen & Co. was organized, the other member of the firm 
being Wiechmann.
