James Drew, born 10 August 1837 in Covington, Kenton, KY; died 21 July 1924 in Castine, Darke, OH. He was the son of 56. Robert Drew and 57. Lydia Bliss. He married 29. Lavinia Lock 1 April 1864 in New Madison, Darke, OH. 56. Robert Drew, born 29 March 1807 in NJ; died 6 July 1879 in Darke County, OH. He married 57. Lydia Bliss 21 January 1830 in Warren Co., OH. 57. Lydia Bliss, born 5 February 1808 in PA; died 26 December 1893 in Darke County, OH. She was the daughter of 114. Nathaniel Bliss and 115. Hannah Williams. In an early day Robert Drew walked the entire distance from New Jersey to Arcanum, this county, and from here walked to below Covington, KY., where he put out a crop of wheat. He then walked back to Darke county, and the following summer walked back to Kentucky and harvested his wheat.
