Ballard, 1035 Clubhouse Dr., INdependence, died Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired co-owner of the Dixie Club Erlanger. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son Charles Balard, Naples Italy; a daughter, Mrs. Deane Everidge, Louisville; a step son, Gordon McGehee, Covington; two brother, John Ballard, Cjarles town, Ind., and CHarles Ballard, Lexington; a sister, Mrs. Martha Ruffia, Louisille, and eight grand-children. Services will be at 2 pm. Wednesday in the Allison & Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation, 4-9 pm Tuesday.
