F. MARTIN'S SISTER DIES AT COVINGTON Mrs. Willie Martin Gillespie, 86, widow of James C. Gillespie and a native of Carlisle, died at 4 a.m. Monday at the home of her son, R. E. Gillespie, Covington, after a two month illness. She was a former member of the Carlisle Methodist Church, but for the past few years had resided with her son. Her husband was a former state representative from Nicholas and Robertson Counties. Mrs. Gillispie is survived by a brother, C. F. Martin, Owingsville, and a sister, Mrs. Florence M. Gore, Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services were conducted at the Mathers-Shearer chapel in Carlisle at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. G. W. Townsend. Burial was in Carlisle Cemetery.
