Wife of William Peter Jones, schoolteacher, Walton Area. Included are two ladies named Dunlap and Lydia Jones Wilson of Walton. The article is interesting. Rachel , born in Dunwich, Ontario in 1827, lived in Walton, KY from 1854 to her death in 1907. She was a member of the Ladies Benevolent Union of Walton. She had eight children. Dr. William Henry, James Leslie, Dr. Frank Vernon, Dr. Asa Newton, Lydia, married to Louis Napoleon Wilson, Robert Weldon, pharmacist Walton, and my grandfather Dr. Richard Mann Jones. The Ledger of the Benevolent Union and Rachel was provided by James W Burkey. Without him I would never obtained the picture or any of the church records. The Presbyterian Church of Walton has a copy of the ledger and it has many interesting facts and also names of local Walton people.
