P. Sandford, Will: On the 11th November 1847 in his last illness at his house in the presence of the undersigned, A. P. Sandford said......."That in regard to disposal of his property, it was his desire & wish, that his wife should have and keep his property and that she should raise his children." Jno. H. Stevenson Davis Kennedy Independence Courthouse, Kenton Co., KY. Will Bk. 1, pg. 64 dated 18th day of January 1848: "A writing purported to be the noncupative will of Alexander P. Sandford, decd." Commonwealth of Kentucky Kenton County Court January Term 1848 A writing purported to be the non cupative will of Alexander P. Sandford, decd., was at the aforesaid term of said court, produced in open court for probate, and John H. Stevenson and Davis Kennedy his subscribing witnesses thereto being sworn disposed that the substance of said writing was spoken by deceased, at his house in this county during his last illness, and by them committed to writing within Six days after the death of said deceased, which was established as and for the nuncupative will of said A. P. Sandford deceased, and such ordered to be recorded, which has been accordingly done. Given under my hand as clerk of said court this 18th day of January 1848. N. B.
