CEMETERIES: Howard Cemetery Knott County Kentucky -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contributed for use in USGENWEB Archives: Mack Holliday mackholl@tgtel.com Date: July 30, 2002 Subject: CEMETERIES: Howard Cemetery Knott County Kentucky --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Howard Cemetery is located near Floyd--Knott Line on top of mountain just above and behind the power lines at the mouth of Howard Branch . There is a fence around it and 6 sets of stones stacked on top of each other. There may be burials here but probably just field stones, They had no writing on them. Bill Francis was the one that told me where this cemetery was located and he said there was a Hershel Conley 1908-1946 killed by a train buried here and he had a headstone. Also a Isoore Howard buried here somewhere also. N37.28.408/W082.51.087 with GPS.
