JACK R. FOX, age 91, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Friday, October 5, 
2007 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was born at Fourmile, Kentucky on April 8, 1916 to the late Grover 
Cleveland and Phoebe Woods Fox.
Jack served in the United States Army for seven years and was a retired 
engineer with thirty-three years of services with the L&N/CSX Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madge Gladys Proffitt Fox and a son, 
Dominick Stevens Fox.
Survivors include his three children, Donna Partin (Mike), Jacqueline Jones 
and Dennis Lee Fox (Jane), all of Corbin; four grandchildren, Dominick Fox II, 
Brian Fox, April Helton (Randy) and Sherrie Renee Sasser (Greg); four great-
grandchildren, Joshua Sasser, Taya Asbrock, Emileigh Sasser and Jena Helton; 
two brothers, Harry Milton Fox of Virginia and Robert Fox of Hawaii; and 
several nieces and nephews, including Gary and Kenneth Fox of Corbin.
Visitation was from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, October 8, 2007 at the 
O'Neil Funeral Home.
The Reverend Bobby Joe Eaton and Dr. Max Cox officiated at funeral services at 
2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the O'Neil Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Rest Haven Cemetery with military honors by American 
Legion Post #88.
