STEELY DARRELL FOX, age 74, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, 
January 31, 2007 at his home.
He was born at Woodbine, Kentucky on December 8, 1932 to the late Charlie and 
Maggie Knuckles Fox.
Steely was preceded in death by an infant son, Darwin Dwayne Fox; sisters, 
Mayfra Jones and Belvie Root; and brothers, Junus Fox and Jewel Fox.
He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War.
He was a retired Brakeman for the L&N/CSX Railroad.
Survivors are his wife of fifty-seven years, Louise Fox; a son, Dennis Fox; a 
daughter, Glenna Atkins (Sam); three grandchildren, Jeremy Kelly, FeLicia 
Atkins and Joshua Atkins (Jenny); seven great-grandchildren; one brother, 
Harold Fox (Ethel); a sister, Armenia Lawson; sister-in-law, Edna Fox; and 
several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the 
O'Neil Funeral Home.
Funeral services were at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the O'Neil 
Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Roy Mitchell and the Reverend Herschel 
Walker officiating.
Burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery, in Corbin, Knox County, Kentucky, with 
military honors by the American Legion Post #88.
