LORENE MCVAY ROBERTSON, age 79, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on December 
31, 2004 at the Corbin Nursing Home.
She was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on April 18, 1925 to the late Lee and 
Bertha Inman McVay.
Lorene was an Office Nurse for Dr. Keith Smith.
She was of the Pentecostal Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil 
L. Robertson; a daughter, Brenda L. Stewart; a sister, Eva Hart; and a 
brother, Lloyd McVay.
Survivors include a grandson, Dennis J. Stewart of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, 
Leon McVay of Corbin and Roy McVay of Covington, Kentucky; four great-
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There was no visitation.
There was a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the 
Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin, Knox County, Kentucky. The Reverend Richard 
Rogers officiated.
O'Neil Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
