RUTH WATKINS WYATT, age 86, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 
2, 2005 in the local hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Nora Price Watkins and born March 
25, 1919.
Ruth taught in the Corbin School System, belonged to the Central Baptist 
Church, had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Homemakers 
of Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Wyatt on July 5, 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Hummell of Corbin and Mary M. Nichols 
(John) of Hamilton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Shelley Norris (John) of Dayton, 
Ohio, Howard "Howie" Hummell (Paula) of Independence, Kentucky, Rhea Stricker 
(Mike) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Nicole Ramsey (Anthony) of Barbourville, 
Kentucky; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at the 
O'Neil Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the 
O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jeff Crabtree and the Reverend 
Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
Burial was in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Corbin, Knox County, Kentucky.
