Rachel Ann Keck was born on April 11, 1849, to Henry Keck and Elizabeth 
Edwards. Rachel Ann Keck married George Valentine Martin on Jun 29, 1865, in 
Knox County, Kentucky.  Rachel Ann Keck syblings were Alfred Keck, Joseph Keck, 
Rebecca Keck, Mathew Madison Keck, Sarah Keck, Henry Keck, Jr., Katherine Keck, 
Minerva Jane Keck, Robert B. Keck, Hiram Keck, and Mary Elizabeth Keck.  


Rachel Ann Keck the mother of  Mary S. MARTIN (b.1867),  Ellen MARTIN (b.1869, 
Thomas MARTIN (b.1870), John Dalton MARTIN (1872 - 1953), Margaret MARTIN 
(b.1874),  George Valentine MARTIN, III (b.1882), Florence MARTIN (b.1885), 
Cornelius MARTIN (b.1889) 

She was buried with at the Scott Chapel Cemetery, Laurel County, Kentucky which 
in 2008 is found at the western end  of Heifer Creek Road, GPS (lat/lon): 
36.9889, -83.9803.
