The adults are Otie Cox, on the left, her husband, Creed Dalton Martin, in the 
middle, and Creed's mother, Lucy Frances Johnson, the wife of John Dalton 
Martin.  The boys are Jack Martin, who is the son of Otie and Creed, and under 
the Lucy's hand's is Lucy's grandson, Vernon Eugene Martin.  Vernon is the son 
of Lucy's son David Reed Martin who perished on October 22, 1918 from the 
Spanish Influenza, and Nannette Serena Walters, his wife.  Lucy is Vernon's 
caretaker, since Nannette has remarried in Cleveland Ohio, and is not prepared to 
care for her own son yet.
