Ballinger Clerk of the County Court of the County afore said do certify that bond and security have been taken in my office as the law directs for a license to issue for a marriage intended between Dennis York and Mary Woollum, her father consenting thereto. These are therefore to license and permit you to join together in the holy estate of Matrimony said Dennis York and Mary Woollum according to the rites and ceremonies of the church to which you belong, and this shall be your sufficent warrant for so doing.
