Padon died at his home in this city Tues. evening after an illness of one week. Dr. Padon came to Blackwell from Kentucky in the fall of 1893. He was married at Princeton, KY in Oct 1894 to Miss Carrie Adamson and soon after returned to Blackwell with his bride. Dr. Padon was born in Livingston Co, KY in 1862. Owing to the decision of the family to take his body to KY, a public funeral here was out of the question, but friends turned out and escorted the remains to the 9:25 Frisco train and paid their tribute of respect to the dead friend. The body will be taken to Crider, KY for interment.
