Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the First Christian Church, Evansville. Burial was in a cemetery there. She is survived by her husband who is conductor on the Dixie Flyer, Evansville division, Louisville & Nashville railroad, and two sons, E O Eastwood, jr., Owensboro, and Arthur Eastwood, Evansville. Taken from The December 10, 1901 DAILY ARDMOREITE, Ardmore Oklahoma Death of Dr. R.C. Littell Kiowa Breeze - Kiowa, I.T. Dr. Littell died at his home last Tuesday at age 51 years. Dr. Littell was born near Lynchburg, VA on April 14, 1850. When he was quite a young man he settle in Bedford, KY where he married to Miss Nannie Barner. In 1870 he graduated as a physician and surgeon from the leading medical college in Louisville, KY and became a very successful practitioner. Dr. Littell, for many years was a resident of Ardmore. The deceased leaves a wife and a daughter, Mrs. T.T. Pace and also a sister. Carmel Cumberland Prebyterian Church. The Rev. Martin Rudolph officiating, and burial followed at the church cemtery. Kirkwood, a farmer near White Plains, died May 31 at Hopkins County Hospital. He was 69. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Cumberland Prebyterian Church. NEWTON Mrs. Oma Frances Newton, 77 year old resident of Route 3 Sebree, died Thursday afternoon July 14 at Methodist Hospital Henderson. She had been in declining for several months. She was a member of the Onton Methodist church and a 50 year member of Lora Bryant Western Star Chapter in Onton. Survivers is one daughter Mrs. Lois Trice one son Aubret Newton both of Route 3 Sebree, one sister Mrs. Alice Ray of Evansville; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Onton Methodist Church with Rev. Leslie Chapman officating assisted by Rev. C W Simpson. Interment was in Onton Cemetery with Lora Bryant Western Star Chapter in charge. Pallbearers were: Allen Newton, Mahom Cottingham, Dandridge Hall, Julis Ray, W B Hall and Butch Hall.
