I James Admas senr of Hopkins County State of kentucky being of perfect mind and memory and calling to mind it is appointed once for all men to die do constitute and appoint this my last will and Testament (to wit) I do recommend my sole to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be buried in a dacent and christian like manner at the desceation of my Exuctor. Item I do first allow all my just debts to be paid. Item I do give and leve to my daughtr Caty Bone a negro garl named Luce that she now hath in possesion to her and her heirs. I do give and leave to my Daughter Polly Davis a negro garl named Neaton that she hath now is possession to her and her heirs. Item I do give to my daughter Jinny a negro garl named Winnie to her and her Heirs. Item I do give and leave to my son Thomas Adams a neagrow boy named Harry. Item, I do give and leve to my son Andrew Adams a neagro boy named King. Item, I do give and leave to my son Wilson Adams a neagro garl named Deby. Itam. I do leave to my beloved wife Agnes Adams the plantation we now live on with all the farming tools and household and kitchen furniture & all my stock of every kind that is on the place and the following negros (towit) Lun, Famma(?), old Bet and young Bet during her life and at her death I do give and leave to my sons Andrew and Wilson the land & stock of every kind that may be on the place with the farming tools house hold and kitchen furniture to be divided equally between them and if either of them should die before their mother the other son to have all the land & stock aforesaid. If that he should die without having any Hair and at the death of my beloved wife I do give and leave old Bet my negro woman to to my daughter Jinny and my negro Lun, Fanna (?) and young Bet to be sold and divided equally between my following sons (towit) Matthew, Robert, Alexanders Heirs, Jesse I James and if Fanna (?) should have any more children before my wifes death I do leave them to her for to do with as she may think proper and I do hereby appoint my sons Matthew and James Adams Executor to this my last will in Witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal the day & date above written. /s/ James Adams (Seal) In presence of John Adams, Thomas Adams, Wilson Adams Hopkins Ct.
