Will I recently made a trip to Paintsville to lookat the will of my gggggg-grandfather William Remy husband of Elenor McCarty. Thanks to Mary K. Goodyear, I found this will is in the Paintsville Court House in the Probate Recorders office folded and stuffed in a business size letter envelop in a drawer in a small room to the left as you enter the Recorders Office. To find the will you have to look in Will Book A, page 8. It will tell the location of the will as described above. I have transcribed the will to the best of my ability and written it exactly as it appears on each page of the will. Each line I have written is the line length on the will. The dashed lines are where dashed lines appear on the original will. The space between some paragraphs is the ending of one page and the starting of the next. If anyone can help me fill in the blanks or has a copy of the words please let me know, or if anyone in Paintsville would be willing to go to the courth house and look at the original and see if they can read to fill in the blanks, I would really appreciate it.
