Dorothy McBride Hutchison Witherspoon Mrs. Dorothy McBride Hutchison Witherspoon, 70, died Tuesday, April 22, at 6pm at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Clay. Survivors include five daughters, Virginia Jeffreys of Clay, Martha Harris of Diamond, Vickie Adams of Wheatcroft, Lynda Farley of Blackford, and Shirley Jeffreys of Evansville; one step son, Danny Witherspoon of Matoon, Ky.; 17 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Services were Friday at 1pm at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis with Rev. Larry Williams and Rev. David Parker officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Morganfield. Mary Bradburn Mary Bradburn, 80, Henderson, formerly of Sturgis, died Friday at 6:20pm at Community Methodist Hospital in Henderson. Mrs. Bradburn was a charter member of the Rebecca Pease Lodge and also a member of the Sturgis Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Bradburn worked at the Sturgis Hospital for 27 years. She is preceded in death by her brother Joe Stewart who died in February of 1995. Survivors include one daughter, Marcella Vesy of Sarasota, FL; one foster daughter, Joanne Cowan of Sturgis; two sisters, Penny Burton and Dell Benn of Henderson. Services were 2pm Sunday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. Burial was in Pythian Ridge Cemetery. Mary Marvel Mary Marvel, 75, Clay, died Satruday at 11:55 pm at the home of her son. Survivors include a son, Ned Whitaker of Sullivan, three step sons, Dwight Marve of Clay, Richad Marvel of Providence, and Robert Marvel of Nevada; one brother, Lloyd Winstead of North Liberty, IN; three granddaughters, four grandsons, and seven great grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at 11am at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay with Rev. Laddie Pride officiating. Burial was at I.O.O.F. in Clay. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony's Hospice of Morganfield. Lindsey Booker Evans Lindsey Booker Evans, 7, Henderson, died at 11:57pm Thursday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. Survivors include her parents, Cayce and Charlotte Evans of Henderson; five brothers, Bud Evans, David Evans, Cayce Evans Jr. , and Tommy Evans, all of Henderson, and Eddie Evans of Morganfield; aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Services were at 10am Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Edward Bradley officiated. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Children's Wishes. Lucille Andre Lucille Andre, 80, died Sunday in Perry, MO. She is survived by her nephew Richard Flick and his wife Charlotte who cared for her. She is survived locally by a sister in law, Stella Andre and niece, Hazel Niese. Also surviving is a nephew, Bill Ruffin of Diamonhead, MS. Lucille and brother Don Andre moved to Perry to be near his son, Richard.
