Franklin County, Ky.

 Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Updike Sr., of Frankfort, will be honored by their
children with an open house, Sunday, Feb. 17, in celebration of their 50th
wedding anniversary at their home on Owenton Ave.  The couple was married
on Feb. 14, 1930 in Frankfort.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Grant County, Ky.

 The funeral of Daniel Points, who died at his home, one mile west
of Sherman, Ky., October 20, 1905, will be preached at the Mt. Zion
Baptist Church, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m.
Rev. G. W. Hill will be the officiating minister.  Interment in
Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Floyd Franks, Elmer Points, Clyde
Franks, William Spilman, Earl Spilman, Alfred Spilman Jr., Fennie Points
and Willie Williams.
