Bowling a certain tract of land supposed to contain about 50 acres, first giving to Monica Bowling mother of the said James W. Bowling a life estate in said fifty acres of land and it at her death to go to the said James W. and whereas the said Monica Bowling and her husband William Bowling did on the 16th day of September 1837 execute to John B. Wheelan (Whelan) a bond to convey to said Wheelan a deed for said land when the said James W. Bowling should arrive at the age of twenty one years and the said John B.
