The cemetery is located in the woods up on top of a hill on the right side of the Hwy. Enter the woods to the left of the blue and white trailer, follow the creek bed to the top of the hill bearing to the left all the time. At the top of the hill, look to the left. Hillyard was son of Alexander Hillyard a native of Virginia and a early settler of Kentucky. William L. Hillyard was a strong Union sympathizer and did not believe in slavery on any terms. William L. Hillyard married all three times in Caldwell County, Kentucky.
