We do not know the date or name of the paper it came from. WILLIAM C. BELL, 83, DIES AT GRAND RIVERS William C. Bell, 83, died at 5:45 a. m Tuesday at his home at Grand Rivers, Livingston county. A native of Port Robertson, Ontario, Canada, Mr. Bell had lived in the United States 56 years. He was a member of Myrtle Lodge 337, F. & A. M., Port Robertson. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Fannie Bell; a son, Lloyd C. Bell; a granddaughter, Mrs. Johnnie Conner; a great grandson, seven nephews and three nieces. BESSIE NICKELL DIES AT GRAND RIVERS Kuttawa, Ky., Oct. 22 (Special)--Mrs. Bessie Holloway Nickell, 68, died at 6:30 a.m. today at her home in Grand Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at the Grand Rivers Methodist Church with the Rev. A. H. Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery at Grand Rivers. Mrs. Nickell and her husband operated the Grand Rivers Hotel for several years. Surviving are her husband, Shelly Nickell; one son, Billy Nickell of Grand Rivers; three daughters, Mrs. Irene Madden of Louisville, Mrs. Frances Travis and Miss Helen Nickell, both of Washington, D. C.; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Ross of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Kate Miller of Coshocton, O., Mrs. Charlene Bradley of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Mamye Morgan of Bumpus Mills, Tenn., and Mrs. Christine Ballthasor of Paducah, and three grandchildren. We do not know the name of the paper it came from. She dated this article Jan 13, 1949. MRS. MARSHALL DIES AT HOSPITAL HERE Mrs. Mary Jane Marshall, 1232 Park Avenue, died at 3:15 a.m. Thursday at Riverside Hospital. Mrs. Marshall had been a resident of Paducah approximately ten years. She was born at Grand Rivers, Livingston county. Survivors include the husband, C. H. Marshall; two daughters, Mrs. Coleman Duke, Paducah, and Mrs. Theron Phillips, Marion; a son, Ralph Marshall, New Castle, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. J. B. Marshall, Kuttawa, and Mrs. Effie Marshall, Paducah; two brothers, Ernest and Russell Jones, both of Kuttawa; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grand Rivers Baptist church with the Rev. L. R. Bottom officiating. Burial will be in Dixon cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raleigh Stubbs, Robert Lowery, S. E. Sexton, Howard Heath, Billy Nickell and Othello Boone.
