Born in Kentucky, she was the daughter of Virgil and Bell (Cobble) Srygler. She married Jerry McKinley and he preceded her in death. She retired from Boeing Airplane Plant and was a member of White River Baptist Church of Bedford. Surviving are two daughters: Vivian Hansen of Moscow, Idaho and Violet Bailey of Pullman, Wash.; one brother, Edward Srygler of Bedford; three sisters: Elizabeth Shaff and Ruth Tumey of Bedford and Laverne DeVore of Bonneville, Ky., and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Born in Oldham County, Ky., she was the daughter of Robert Walter and Gertrude Mable (Greenwood) Powell. She married William W. Anderson Sept. 18, 1926, and he died Aug. 16, 1990. She was a former teacher in Trimble and Oldham counties in Kentucky and had substituted in the Orleans school system. She was a member of Orleans Christian Church, where she had taught Sunday school and was a member of Lost River Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are three daughters: Imogene Garrett of Orleans, Glenna Felch of Lexington, Ky. and Joyce Magner of Shreveport, La.; one brother, Walter Earl Powell of Lagrange, Ky.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home, Orleans, with Brother Tom Bostic and Brother Nelson Lee officiating.
