Boone County Kentucky Will Bk. 13 Pages: 369-371 Date: 2nd. February 1894 Last Will and Testament of George W. Terrill I Geo. W. Terrill of Petersburg, County of Boone, State of Kentucky, farmer by occupation, make this my last Will. I give devise and bequeath my estate and property real and personal as follows that is to say I give my beloved wife H. Anne Terrill my household and kitchen furniture and cooking utensils every thing in my house except one bookcase or secretary to my son G. W. Terrill Jr. I also give my wife Two horses, match pair of Bay norman Fillies 1-2 years old the other 3 years old. The meat in the smoke house, Three cows old -------- ----- one sow and eight pigs (white sow) my family Buggy and harness. I also give my wife 1/3 interest in my homestead in fee simple to her and her heirs forever. The homestead contains 132 acres. I have given the following sums to my Sons and Daughters commencing with Ada the oldest, Forty three hundred and fifty dollars ($4350.00) to John L. Terrill ($4350.00) to Lucy ($3600.00) to W. R. Terrill ($2,000.00) to Joshua D. Terrill ($3500.00) G. W. Terrill Jr. ($3500.00) to my daughter Nannie I have given Fifty Dollars ($50.00). It is my desire that after paying all just Bills the Heirs shall be as near equal as possible commencing with Nannie and Will. Being of sound mind and memory so help me God. I hereby appoint as my executors my son G. W. Terrill, Jr., H. Lee Early my son in law with full authority to sell transfer and deed said property and Real Estate, notes, and Mortgages and not be in a hurry to dispose of same at either pubic or private sale as they may think proper. In Witness whereof I have hereunto signed sealed, published and delivered this instrument as my Will at home on this 2nd day of February 1894. Geo. W. Terrill The said G. W. Holton, and George Burris subscribing witnesses thereto whereupon it is ordered that said writing be an the same is hereby allowed and established as and for the last will and Testament of G. W.
